"If there is anyone to blame, I would have to say it’s my brother. If I wasn’t helping with his paper route, I was doing my best to sing along as we listened to Neil Young, the Beach Boys, Grateful Dead and Tom Petty . Those days are now happy, blurred memories, but our musical unity continues – we both have our weekly guitar lessons and swap tunes whenever we get together. I am fortunate to have been with Y3K since 1998, and cannot wait to see what adventures await us in the next nine! A mantra? I believe it would be this Rumi poem: “I want to sing like birds sing, not worrying who listens or what they think.” Perhaps this is why Preacher calls me Songbird . . ."
